Thank you, Mr. President.
Japan warmly welcomes the delegation of the Republic of Armenia to this session.
Japan appreciates the positive steps taken by Armenia since the previous review cycle to improve its human rights situation.
Japan also commends the Government of Armenia on its establishment in 2024 of a National Mechanism for Implementation, Reporting and Follow up to ensure a more coordinated implementation of the recommendations provided by the UPR Working Group and UN treaty bodies.
In the spirit of constructive dialogue, Japan recommends that the Republic of Armenia:

- continue and strengthen its efforts to implement its judicial and legal reform strategy and action plan;
- edouble its efforts to eliminate discrimination on all grounds; and
- adopt a national action plan on business and human rights.
