Thank you, Mr. President.
Japan warmly welcomes the delegation of the Republic of Angola.
Japan welcomes Angola’s continued endeavor to advance human rights since the previous review cycle. In particular, Japan takes note of Angola’s ongoing efforts to protect and promote the right to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of health, including through actions to reduce maternal and child mortality rates. Japan further welcomes Angola’s efforts to increase access to justice through judicial and legal reforms.
In the spirit of constructive dialogue, Japan recommends that Angola:
