Participation in the WTO World Trade & Tech Day

On 14 September, Ambassador NAGAI Katsuro participated in a reception held in conjunction with the WTO World Trade & Tech Day and delivered remarks together with Ms. Johanna Hill, Deputy Director-General of the WTO and Ambassador Erwin Bollinger, Permanent Representative of Switzerland to the WTO.
The event was the WTO’s first-ever one-day program focusing on AI and was held under the theme “AI and Trade: Turning Potential into Progress.” During the keynote lecture, Mr. ITO Ren, Co-Founder and Chairman of Sakana AI, took the stage and shared his insights on the relationship between AI and trade and its potential.
