Participation of Japan in the International Bazaar at UNOG (9 December 2025)
2025/12/12
On 9 December, the International Bazaar organized by the United Nations Women’s Guild (UNWG) took place at the UN Office at Geneva (UNOG), with representatives from about 60 countries participating. Our Mission also hosted a booth at the event.
At our booth, we served onigiri (rice balls) prepared by our Official Residence Chef, offered various other Japanese food and drinks for sale, and performed a live demonstration of how matcha green tea is traditionally prepared using a bamboo whisk. We are thankful to the many visitors to our booth in support of a good cause.
The proceeds from the bazaar will be donated through UNWG to support projects in aid of underprivileged children worldwide.
