On 26 September, Ambassador Oike awarded Mr. ISHII Fumiyoshi with the Foreign Minister’s Commendation (conferral of the title of Excellent Official Residence Chef) and a medal, in recognition of his achievements as an official residence chef.
Through his culinary skills, Mr. Ishii has greatly contributed to the execution of Japan’s diplomatic activities during receptions and other events at the official residence, and we look forward to his continued success in the future.
