Japan’s Assistance for Technical Cooperation Projects in Collaboration with the ITC (20 March 2025)

 On 20 March 2025, Ambassador HIKOTA Naoki held an official ceremony to exchange documents with Ms. Pamela Coke-Hamilton, Executive Director of the International Trade Center, regarding Japan’s contribution to the ITC for technical assistance in Ukraine, Algeria, Tunisia, Côte d’Ivoire, and Ghana among others.
 The Government of Japan has contributed a total of USD 1,587,026 to the aforementioned ITC technical assistance, as well as to support Ethiopia’s accession to the WTO.
 At the ceremony, Japan and the ITC shared the view to continue to work closely together, and to provide such support so as to improve the trading capacity of developing countries among others.
