Exchange of Documents with the World Economic Forum (WEF) regarding the "Promoting Adoption and Implementation of the Hiroshima Process International Code of Conduct"

On March 18, Minister Hagino exchanged documents with Mr. Mirek Dusek, Managing Director of the World Economic Forum (WEF) for the Project Promoting Adoption and Implementation of the Hiroshima Process International Code of Conduct.
Through the Hiroshima AI Process, the Japanese government will lead international discussions to achieve safe, secure, and trustworthy AI, and will also promote the adoption and implementation of the Hiroshima Process international guiding principles and code of conduct beyond G7.
This Project is aimed at supporting the adoption and implementation of these principles and codes of conduct for AI-related enterprises in Southeast Asia, India, Africa, and other regions, in collaboration with the WEF, which possesses expertise in AI and has networks with private enterprises.
