Sophia University’s Training Program on Geneva’s International Organizations visits the Mission (11 September 2024)

On 11 September, the Permanent Mission of Japan in Geneva hosted a session for students of Tokyo’s Sophia University participating in a training program on the international organizations in Geneva.
The training program has been running since 2018 under the leadership of Sophia University’s Professor UEKI Yasuhiro. As part of the program, students of the university have the opportunity to visit Geneva and attend talks and tours at both the Japanese Mission and international organizations in the city.
A group of 24 undergraduate students participated in the session hosted by the Mission, which focused on the position and role of the Mission, the practices of multilateral diplomacy, and employment in international organizations.
