Participation of Japan in UN Geneva exhibition: “Handicraft exhibition – Crafting a Better World” (24 October ~10 November 2023)

From 24 October to 10 November, an exhibition entitled “Handicraft exhibition – Crafting a Better World”, showcasing handicrafts from around the globe, is being held at the UN Office at Geneva.
The Permanent Mission of Japan is displaying an Uchikake, an elaborate silk robe covered with embroidered flowers and cranes, traditionally worn over a kimono.
A ceremony was held to mark the exhibition’s opening, which was attended by Ms. Tatiana Valovaya, Director-General of the UNOG, as well as Ambassador HONSEI from our Mission, and ambassadors from various Missions.
