Japan’s Assistance for Technical Cooperation Projects in Collaboration with the ITC (28 March 2023)

On 28 March 2023, Ambassador Yamazaki held an official ceremony to exchange documents with Ms. Pamela Coke-Hamilton, Executive Director of the International Trade Centre, regarding Japan’s contribution of US$ 1,272,258 to the ITC for technical assistance in Nigeria, Palestine, Sudan, and Ukraine among others.
These contributions will be disbursed for ITC's e-commerce technical assistance in Nigeria, Palestine, Sudan, and Ukraine, among others, as well as to support Sudan's accession process to the WTO.
At the ceremony, Japan and the ITC shared the view to continue to work closely together, focusing on providing support for the promotion of e-commerce.
