Exhibition celebrating the 10th anniversary of WIPO Japan Funds-in-Trust for Africa and Least Developed Countries (LDCs) (September 25, 2018)
In 1987, the Government of Japan made its first voluntary contribution to development cooperation program of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). In 2008, the government of Japan established separate fund for African countries and Least Developed countries (LDCs).
The Government of Japan and WIPO organized the exhibition celebrating the 10th anniversary of WIPO Japan Funds-in-Trust for Africa and LDCs on Tuesday, 25 Sep at the headquarter of WIPO.
Dr. Francis Gurry, Director General of WIPO and H.E. Mr. Omar Zniber, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Morocco to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva, expressed gratitude to the Government of Japan for its contribution.
