New Year's Reception (12 January 2018)

　A reception to welcome in the New Year was held at the Mission of Japan on 12 January. The reception was jointly hosted by Ambassador Ihara, Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Geneva, Ambassador Takamizawa, Permanent Representative to the Conference on Disarmament, and Ambassador Shino, Deputy Permanent Representative to the International Organizations and Chief of the Consulate in Geneva.

　The event was attended by approximately 200 people, comprising mainly Japanese expats in Geneva and their colleagues. Guests enjoyed osechi ryori, the traditional food served in Japan at New Year’s, together with sake (rice wine) and plenty of lively conversation.
