WTO Public Forum 2016 and "Digital Trade for Digital Economy" Workshop, Organized by the Permanent Mission of Japan

 
On March 20, on the occasion of the 87th Geneva Motorshow, H.E. Ambassador and Mrs. Junichi Ihara hosted a reception at their residence to introduce the Japanese cars and other Japanese products. Around 130 guests, including ambassadors, diplomats and officials of international organizations participated in the event, which featured a display of 18 cars. The cars on show included a brand new model making its world premiere and many others with high-environmental performances, 13 of them were available for a test drive. Furthermore, during the event, short films on the recovery and reconstruction situation in Fukushima and tourism in Japan were shown, Japanese companies presented their services and products, and a Japanese tea ambassador certified by the Japan tea export council served fine Japanese brown rice tea and green tea to the guests. Many participants said it was a good opportunity to discover each company’s activities and products.
